“Cherish your solitude. Take trains by yourself to places you have never been. Sleep out alone under the stars. Learn how to drive a stick shift. Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back. Say no when you don’t want to do something. Say yes if your instincts are strong, even if everyone around you disagrees. Decide whether you want to be liked or admired. Decide if fitting in is more important than finding out what you’re doing here. Believe in kissing.”—Eve Ensler (via crookedindifference)
We’ve been dealing with explosive doggy diarrhea since 2:30am over here at Casa de Robinson. Its a damn good thing we keep her penned in the bathroom at night. Made it a lot easier to clean up. Making the poor girl some oatmeal and yogurt to calm her belly. Guess this is only preparation for mama-hood! Its still frickin’ nasty, though.
Between the cats, the dog, and a new baby come spring, we’re going to be dealing with some serious waste management. Eek…what have we gotten ourselves into?
I am so not technologically savy and am trying to figure this thing out. I'm not sure if you got my answer to your message, so here you go.... :)
you know same old same old….
I’ve gathered from your blog that you might have some exciting news to be sharing soon! :) and that you might be moving to baltimore? That’s right down the street from us, we’re in farmland of carroll county (which I love! it’s so different from moco/ a little more laid back and not so crowded) but Luke works in baltimore and would love to there! So maybe we could get together soon?
what have you been up to?
Yes! We’re due April 12th, 2011! And our lease at our apartment in Gburg is up April 17th, so ideally, we’d like to move in March before this kid shows up. We’ve looked at sooooo many houses around here and its just not affordable. AT. ALL. So, we’re looking a little more closely at Baltimore. We’re gonna drive up there this weekend and check out a few neighborhoods and see if we like the vibe. The houses are just beautiful there and exactly what we like: bungalows with front porches and old trees and attic bedrooms.
Where does Luke work? Tim’s gonna be looking for a job this time next year. Doesn’t he do something with a greenhouse or plants or something? (What an intelligently worded question, Caitlin.)
I’d love to get together and meet your boy. He’s getting sooooo grown up. You must be having so much fun with him.
There’s gonna be a new little Robinson come April and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve suffered two miscarriages so the fact that this little critter is thriving and growing strong at 11 weeks is beyond awesome.
